  • total cycling are good, no where as cheap as aspire velotech though.

  • The shops deal with Phil direct, no one imports and distributes them a la Chicken Cycles etc.

  • forgot about aspire velotech, they do the pretty coloured phils, loverly...

  • What adoubletap said... Tho' some shops get their stock from Sideways Cycles for some reason...
I bought mine direct... No probs...

  • yeh i just ordered a nice red phil from aspire - waiting to see how much import tax i'll get stung with... still free delivery worldwide, you can really argue with that.
    Nice guys too.

  • Forget Sideways, they took months to get my stuff in. Direct from America is the way forward.

  • I got my BB direct from Phil. They're happy to mark down for the customs too - 25USD Gift!

  • I'd always suggest getting direct from USA, especially with the $ being almost half at the mo - got a pair for £130!

Otherwise Sideways are pretty good, contrary to what others said above.

I got a Keirin axle from them within 2 days

  • @ clefty, got my phils from aspire, and didn't get any customs charge at all, delivered to me desk at work. lovely jubberly

  • what's the turnaround for phils/chrisking through aspirevelo?

A few friends have ordered from them and it takes bout a week.....and they didn't pay any import tax.

  • Aspire has some ace colours, still not cheap though.....$160-200 for a front and $180-270 for a rear....all adds up. Free shipping mind so can't really complain

$154 for a silver front is dirt cheap!!

  • so businesscycles is cheaper. dunno what their postage rate is, but the slr versions are £325 for a set

  • sorry to anyone who ordered from aspire

but for the hubs Pro Wheel Builder is cheaper
    $150 front $200 rear - any colour

    http://www.prowheelbuilder.com/other.php?brand=58&cat=wheelproducts&subcat=82

  • Universal Cycles $120 silver front and $142 rear and VIP10 discount code for another 10% off = $236 = £120

  • but how much is delivery and do they ship the same day??

  • 1 business day apparently.
Also over $28 dollars, but it will apparently arrive within 3-4 days.

So assuming that- lets say $50 for the delivery, =$290= £150
