Plenty of older Langsters are still very much loved here Charles.....I keep looking towards Mercian or BJs but really me old faithful might'nt be so pretty, but it still rolls me along pretty sweetly and I aint switching till it breaks or I've a space in my cycle-packed garage.

Good lord, You are such a big bunch of bitches, poor charles-co just wants to know where else to get a bike.
and to be fare Langster's are strong, cheap, bikes and i think they make sense for people who are just starting out and then want to build up a nice new one like Charles here . : )

Thank. I think I am going wait a while as suggested. I suppose it just the fact that I am only now discovering that there is this whole new society that love riding in London as much as me, and the fact that the fixed gear riding has me hocked
Anyone know where I can get orange tube tops or any colour simlair to an 07 langster?

holy bejoly....... it has taken me from 2005 to save and start my first build, in the meantime I have had an eddy merkx 197o bike keeping me going. I have just started my build then I will out and about at last. Really, do you guys have more than one bike, flip if I get mine stolen that kinda is it....ummmm..my job must be pants to keep me this ill fed with spending monies. Ha maybe I am just slow. I see the point in x2 bikes. Has anyone ever held onto their bike from day-one without it getting stolen? I saw a guy once dressed as a courier, fixie rider, then I saw him pop out tools from his 100 pockets and that was it for a few bikes, gone. That happened off brick lane.

I should say I am not from London and walk about with my head in a musical stupor so it is good to learn before I take my first build out, when it is built.

Buy one from someone on the forum. Then they can buy another one. Then someone else can buy another one.
It's like the housing bubble all over again!
-

nah the housing bubble is:
buy one bike, then buy another one and rent it out to a fakenger, then buy another 4 bikes and rent those out to a circus troupe. then fail to make the payments and descend into an alcohol and antidepressant-fueled stupor until everything is repossessed.
the bike shop then closes down.
