Restoring a bike

dude, you're posting on a singlespeed/fixed gear forum, about the fact that the polish on your aluminium lugs for your (geared) purdy carbon road bike isn't quite to your satisfaction? No disrespect, but when the gods (chris, tynan, rpm, asm etc) find out...

Well I am obviously going to pull it limb from limb and put it back together as part of a single speed project! No, really! I've actually bought quite a few parts that I am switching out to get the bike as light as possible. Now all I need is to decide the gear ratio and buy a new chainring and rear sprockets.
