Nothing wrong with being Polish at all, but maybe they thought what I did when I first read about the frames... '£600 for a Polish built bike? That's a bit steep'
There's nothing wrong with Polish craftsmanship, but oftentimes, the perception is that things from Eastern Europe should be cheaper due to lower costs and so on, irrespective of their quality.
