Was on the verge of going for a Fuji Track and then saw that Pearsons have a new entry level off-the-peg. Any thoughts?

in my humble opinion, you're better off spending another 20 quid and getting this from the same store.

Those 2 look interesting. A lighter Plug would be great. I have a Touche - after trying out the Flyer, Langster & Condor Pista. Prefered the Condor, but couldn't afford it & much prefered the Touche to the other 2.
Have a go on them to see - they all ride differently. -

can you just decide and put us out of our misery?
i want to get on with my life. how i can do that with you procrastinating over such a fundamental choice?

Hey, procrastination is what we do here... What else is there?

'what else is there' - trentemoller remix of royksopp, is brilliant...

I made a decision earlier today, but I think I'll review it, causing misery is too much fun....

Decisions.....
So I had planned a little jaunt on the bike in Shetland.
The weather is now rideable(ish- still 40mph gusts) for 2 days out of the 5. The other days are predicted at 40/50/60mph winds, mostly cross and head.Do I cancel and book again another time?
I don't want to be trapped with nothing to do. -

sounds grim.
I would cancel. Or HTFU. But probably cancel.
-
• #62
cancel
-

Do it.
If you sit around waiting for decent weather in Shetland you'll never go. The roads are quite so traffic's not going to be an issue, but wear a helmet in case you get blown into a ditch. Low gears and steady pedalling will get you where you're headed... eventually.

Its all a bit academic cancelling now-
Train is non refundable,
Plane is non refundable (BA are fucking cunts- at no point anywhere on the ticket does it say this).
So....
might as well go and HTFU... -

Have fun.

It's bound to be even more fun battling the monstrous elements while feeling resentful about being there at all.
Enjoy!

Meh.
I've changed the itinerary to be in Lerwick when the bad weather is...
I'll just relax with a kindle or something.
Still got about 150 miles riding.... Just not as exciting as I'd hoped....And I'm excited about the Flight- London city airport and all....
