Completely self organised charity cycle?

My suggestion would be just to do a long/difficult ride that you want to do, set up a justgiving page to raise money for the charity of your choice and pester everyone you know to donate. Is what I plan to do anyway.

i was interested in the Big Issue cycle to Paris but didn't think i'd get enough sponsorship to make the minimum amount. I'm still up for cycling for charity though and agree with H2o about the way to do it.
