Thanks. I didn't spot you, I always slow and look out for peds up Shaftesbury Ave.
I spotted the guy on the bianchi pista with ano-red deep V's. I told him about the forum, and chatted to him about his zippiness. He says basically cycling is the only exercise he gets, and so he floors it.
