dude, you're posting on a singlespeed/fixed gear forum, about the fact that the polish on your aluminium lugs for your (geared) purdy carbon road bike isn't quite to your satisfaction? No disrespect, but when the gods (chris, tynan, rpm, asm etc) find out...
quick, edit the post and ask about polishing a steel tracknut instead...:-)
