  • $300 for a nag isn't bad, i'll buy the forks off you, so you can buy some nice drilled ones..

  • oh my, this is such cool fun whilst I get to earn some things. Scooters are for girls who cant pedal and boys who cant grind. I am irish so i can do all this and peel spuds at the same time. As long as ye'all like hussy with dirty finger nails then all is cool.

  • 'l'

  • hey max do you know how tight the naga forks are???? I like them so I will keep them and get them pro drilled by a dirty engineer guy in sweats, then it won't be a wonky hole huh?? Is that not right?

  • ooopps my time is up at Hackney central library, gotta go for now. x

  • i think dogballs builds wheels or smallbrownbike

  • i think dogballs builds wheels or smallbrownbike

    Definitely wheels.

Londonfgss is an oasis of ambiguous syntax and that is why I come here.

  • But I have seductively saved my monies from the grey old comissioners

banking has never sounded so appealing.

  • hussy if you drill your forks you want to do it like this:

get a blow torch, and heat them up red hot, drill a hole kind of near the centre, be sure to be drunk before operating any tools.

    nice thread guys/gals

  • this thread is wierd.

i saw chap with a nagasawa in cavendish yesterday. it was red, the wheels were deep v red, the hubs were dura ace red, the straps were double toshi - red, the bars and stem nitto - also red. (looked like a fgl build, must have cost an arm and two legs)

it looked like it was suffering and silently screaming inside, knowing that it would never, ever be ridden in anger around the harsh banks of the velodrome again, and instead was condemned to a futile existence as a hipster bauble.

    Cavendish open @ 8.30 am on a Sunday ?

    Keen !

  • one last note on this darlins, if your looking to get forks drilled, what do you look up in the yellow pages, metal worker/metal cutter/engineer/ yellow pages make it so hard to catergorise things.

  • We've got to stop meeting like this.
EDIT - I think metal worker... sorry that link is not that useful.. :-/ it started off good though!

  • hey P. how come we keep spooking like this. NO that link was poo, but never mind, why is everyone so against drilling forks? I could understand if it was a technical thang..but is it just for purity/vanity no brakes stuff. not all riders are bigg ball swingers, some of us none at all. I say drill the babies right between the legs! And then apply a lovely tiny campy brake which fits, i have one and it works in terms of reach. Now, what do we call a person who drills holes in metal in a workshop and what do we call his place of work...so i can check it out. Will it really devalue my naga frame ? pants those strap-on (!!!) brakes are hard to look at.

  • and if there were alot of spelling mistakes above I not care

  • I've always worried about the structural integrity.
Clamp on brakes are fugly, I had to use one on my bridgestone, as I ain't a brakeless rider.

you make me laugh so much sometimes, PJ..

you're even more of a cunt than I am!

We've got a bench press drill in our workshop, i'd be able to drill a perfectly straight hole...6mm for the front of the fork, 8mm for the rear of the fork (providing it's a more modern brake with a sleeved pivot nut)
However, if i were to this i'd have to stop the tears blurring my vision while at the same time gouging out some puppy eyes.
But yes, jokes aside, i could easily do it.
