    I don't know about that one, but around 600 peds a year are killed by motor vehicles in the UK. I think the average figure for fatalities in the UK resulting from collisions between cyclists and pedestrians is around 1 or less.

    That guy's rant was, as I said, extremely ill-informed.

    It was a year ago, and I know that TO got a HUGE virtual and paper post-bag of replies to his piece.
