I've noticed a lot of people lock their bikes in the 'down tube, front rim, immovable object' way. I used to use 'chainstay, rear spoke, immovable object' but I realised that wasn't so great and now I use 'seat tube, rear rim, immovable object'. I think Idealy I'd like to use my mini d for 'seat tube, rear rim, immovable object' and a chain for 'down tube, front rim, immovable object, along with a cable securing the saddle rails.
