The bolt's fine. it's actually threaded, so technically you don't need the little retainer nut on the other side, but I'd still keep it on there to be safe.

i used a chainlink tool and joined it the old fashioned way, im sure the bolts are tough but i still dont trust them.

I've been using Super Toughness chains for at least 2 years on my daily 25 mile commute and never had a problem with the bolt.
I fail to see how it can be weaker than a regular link with a pin that pushes in. There's quite a lot of parts on my bike that use threaded screws...

I lost the nut on the other side, and then the bolt loosened. I didn't wait for the obvious, I use a chain tool now.
