Wankenger of the year awards

London fields have gone beyond the call of duty for me too but the cable end thing was a laugh. I walked out. (isn't it great to chat about such petty things on the interwebs?)

It is petty ! But it is not about the 50p for air or 10p for a smile - it is that it is indicative of their attitude towards their customers - any contrast of 'local friendly bike shop' v 'money grabbing corporate chain' is eroded by this kind of petty business thinking.
