I have seen these for £10 for a bottle of 1500 (two thirds of a penny each).

You wonder why folk like Sheldon Brown became so popular - on his website they sell these 'cable end crimps' and if you just want a few they will post them to you free.

Exactly. If you give your customers things like that for free, when they want a new bike they'll come back to you and spend £££.

i was in BLB the other day and saw the 50p for air thing, and y'know what? wasn't surprised at all.

You mean they actually have a sign?!

If I'm in a foul mood tomorrow afternoon, i.e. if the tickets I want for a gig sell out, I'm going to ride down there and take it out on them.
