It was a bad case of no wet weather gear, no mudguards, and no patches as I only carry one spare tube on me, however the Knight was definitely worth it :-)
I wouldnt mind, but I changed one rear puncture, managed to pull off the end of the valve when i extracted the pump - luckily the air stayed in. Got to Battersea, then randomly got a front flat as well - just one of those evenings..
I do feel a bit of a wuss though, and have two weeks of cups of tea in bed and breakfasts to now repay the Knight, however this couldnt have come at a better time as it's his birthday tomorrow and I can cancel the debt out with birthday presents!
