A great documentry about the early days of hip hop and rap. It's called "Big Fun in the Big Town" and, ok...., it's partly in dutch but gives a great image of NYC and the rap scene in the early eighties.
Made by a belgian reporter (maybe dogmatic can help me out with the name here) for the dutch equivalant of the BBC2 (remeber this is 1986!)
