It just so happens that I grew up in Bermondsey so know a bit about the area.
Have you done anything on the lost underground tributaries of the Thames? The Neckinger runs through Bermondsey,and joins the Thames at Jacobs Island which was where Dickens set Oliver Twist, the existing site is down near Shad thames, on the South Side of the river there are some nice backstreets heading towards rotherhithe from there, we can also go past the fire station used in the ITV series 'Londons Burning' which was next to my school - but I'm not sure how 'secret' that is.
Still, you at drinks tonight, I can rattle on about this for ever frankly.
