don't know, but it's going to give me nightmares.
-
• #3
You think it sucks? :)
-
• #4
personally, yes.
-
• #5
Well, the welds are kind of ugly, the paintjob is kind of ugly.. and it's aluminum.. what else sucks?
-
• #6
I know there's a chain of 'protech' bike stores across japan...
-
• #7
i can think of things i'd rather have than this frame.
a whack in the face with a shitty, broken stick, for one.
-
• #8
also, do you really want to be the butt of childish 'lezzie' jokes?
-
• #9
hee hee.
lezzie!
But seriously, prob made in taiwan, shipped over to japan and branded. Its just a guess. -

pj you are a horrible person.
-
• #11
Well, it was found in a dumpster behind a bikeshop.. so i guess pj is right :) i'm not sure i'd use it for anything but selling to some weird guy if i did build it up..
-
• #12
if you built it up you could probably sell it for like 100. i guess.
-
• #13
maybe the fact that it had been thrown out by the bike shop could be some sort of indicator of the quality?
-
• #14
also, do you really want to be the butt of childish 'lezzie' jokes?
Surely that's a good enough reason to chuck it in the nearest skip.
-
• #15
It's an alu bike. ALu welds tend to be ugly.
-
• #16
Not ugly, 'functional'.
-
• #17
ugly.
-
• #18
Nah, definitely ugly.
Are you sure there aren't any problems with it? It could be really out of alignment, need the bb rethreading etc. After all it was found in a skip.
-
• #19
top of the seat tube looks a bit suspect.
-
• #20
eeehhhh: In Denmark lots of good stuff can be found in skips by bikeshops, like new or almost new tires, and all kinds of parts that are in working order.. The frame looks to be okay, it doesn't look to be out of alignment at least..
pj: it's just paint coming off.. :)

Certainly doesn't look like anything special. Generic low-end aluminum. I certainly wouldn't put any money into it, but if you can do a parts-bin build, go for it.
Hey,
Sorry for posting something not fixed.
Anyone know what this is? Google don't know anything about Lesy and bikes, Protech seems to be a team.. but i don't know..
No sticker to show what tubeset has been used.. but it weighs in at about 1800g with the BB and flaskholders.
Thinking about using it for a roadbuild.
