they've got some interesting cranksets on those bikes. (disclaimer: I'm not insulting them, i've just never seen them before)
Also where do they find so many identical bullhorns? -

I bought the blue Eddy Merckx from these guys and am very happy with it - took it for a spin up to Oxford from Hackney and it held out pretty well and was a pleasure to ride, though there was a bit of rattling and looseness by the end of the jaunt.
The components on the bikes they sell are generally very basic (though I was sorted with a better saddle when I bought the bike). I was told the Merckx was good to convert to a fixie with a simple change of cog which wasn't actually true (a mistake rather than a lie), but Dani's offered to sort me out with a fixed wheel next time his mate's in town for free. It seems like a good way to get on the road with an affordable single-speed and build up the quality of the components as finances allow...
The other guy runs a bike shop in Portsmouth or somewhere which is where I believe he gets the frames and parts from.
From my point of view Dani's a sound, honest man so get in touch and see what they have. I think they get a new delivery in every couple of weeks or so. -

Danis heart is in the right place i think, but he shrewdly resprays old frames in bright colours, adds coloured tires and on the surface it looks desirable. On closer inspection the brakes, handlebar, wheels etc belong to another era-iron age.I feel stupid for forking 320 quid for what was essentially a bodged job, cheap crap with tinsel on.I would have payed 50 if id payed attention.

I got one of his bikes, and so far so good. It's true that the components are very basic.. but it's been a very solid bike so far. Plus Dani is a good guy, he is always happy to help..
so whats the deal with these guys - does anyone know them are they a reliable source of bike ? any info much appreciated
