I have got loads of the bastards, metal, lightweight plastic, posh ones, coloured ones etc etc.

If pushed halfords have loads of little packs of small parts like this. Track nuts and the like too.

Don't buy any old crap as it needs lubricating and gets clogged up in the rain. Condor have some good cable and housing pairs which don't need any lube.

Lubed cable pulls (on actuation) dirt and grit into the cable housing unless it is sealed from start to finish.

Very much like myself in the pub.
