I've been having hassle with the new bike. I played with position and think its really close to the old one now. Lots of fiddling and I still hadn't been able to engage the sit-bones properly. I tried 3 different saddles, adjusted my stem up down forwards back, saddle forwards back etc. (I made the mistake of dismantling the old bike without measuring anything..)
I have now realised my 'discomfort' is due to new riding clothes: wearing padded undershorts + 3/4 shants with a thin sewn-in pad = too much padding.
It was fine for a few days, but the cushioning reallly hurt today!
