Pretty! The dropouts aren't super long, but they're long enough.

How long is a piece of string? It all depends on the components you put on there, and if you wanted to you could easily spend a grand blinging it out. Or you can spend £100 and grovel and beg people for spare bits.
I'd recommend talking to dogsballs, Jos and Roberto on here as all have and sell lots of bikes and components and can help you get it all together whilst helping you both save money and them to make money.

hi, been lurking on here for a while, and finally got round to posting!
pretty new to fixed gears etc but i am interested in building my own so i can make it how i want it (im quite picky)
just came across this binach frame on ebay ending soon - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=370038647087&_trksid=p2759.l1259
would like to make it into a single speed (if i can get it for a good enough price), do you think it would work well as one? been reading about it, and i read that some bikes arnt really suitable to make into single speeds. something about the chain tension?
any help would be great! ive left it quite late tho, the auction finishes pretty soon.
thanks alot
dave
