  • My pal Wig swears by 'em. Leaves his tasty MTB locked up in East London's fashionable East London all the time. I gather the AHead one is quite useful ... I would consider the seat post skewer if you have something very expensive to sit on, too.

    Though someone nice at Brixton once gave some excellent advice (for things with allen fixings like stems, seat bolts or even your Phils!): put a big load of grease in there (once it's fixed up how you want it). Then push a ball bearing of similar diameter into the grease. Will stop any opportunists with allen keys doing you over quickly - might make the diffence between it being your shit that gets nicked or someone else's.

    Course you'll need a big magnet to get em back out, which thieves apparently carry to mark out bikes for their mates to nick or something.
