  • there is a lot of exercise research on creatine. there are only very minor benefits to exercise if any. as mentioned it can only be stored in the body in small amounts and can be fully exhausted with-in 10s of supramaximal exercise. as mentioned earlier the placebo effect is the greatest.

    i've never been a fan of diets or nutritional supplementation. it's only useful if your nutritional intake is inadequate. if you are eating a well-balanced and varied diet you should be getting enough minerals and nutrients.

    the reason why some of the body builder powders seem to work is that the companys throw in trace amounts of steriod based analagoues and god nows what else. this is also a reason why many supposedly 'innocent' athletes are testing postive to banned substances.
