single brake levers are available from anywhere that sells BMX stuff - Local bike shops, Billy's BMX..
Riser bars are a little trickier, search forum for 'Shim' 'Risers'' etc.
Regular risers are 25.4mm, OS are 31.8mm, which you use and how depends what diameter the bars on the Kona are.. could be worth changing the stem. -

Thanks, are BMX levers expensive/easy to ift?(i'm a shit mechanic)

Not expensive, and easy to fit.

If you get a hinged clamp one they are easier to fit and remove without taking grips on and off. but be aware they come in different diameters too!
Can get a single Dia-Tech Goldfinger for £12ish, or a pair of cheper tectros for the same.
I think nicking some off a childs bike is the cheapest option.

Thanks, just looked on the Evans website and the Dia tech Goldfinger looks good but they didn't have a right hand one.
May even get Evans or a bike shop to do it....

Just get a left and put it on back to front = budget right hand lever

fiendishly clever

I've a set of O/S risers that came off mine if you're interested. I'm pretty sure that the Paddy Wagons always have always had oversized stems as standard so they should fit.
Not sure what make the bars are, I'll check tonight. -

With one brake I prefeer to have it on the left, allows me to brake and signal.
Don't get a bike shop to do this if you are not confident get yourself a zen of bike mechanics or the haynes bike mechnic manual.

Hey I Love steel - It's not really necessary to start a new thread asking for bullhorns when you already started a thread today regarding your bullhorn issues here... just saying y'all. You could have posted in the For trade thread which is generally used for smaller items.
Please keep londonfgss.com tidy. :-)Let us know how the risers work out, my mate is getting a paddy wagon soon and has already had exactly the same idea.. drops were too stretched out / ugly for him.
I'm not a moderator or anything, just some cnut with too much time on their hands.

no worries!
best to use the PM function in your CP to talk to brett about the bars,
you might not want to put your mobile number up publicly!(I've already signed you up for some premium rate tele-porn) ;)

Unless you're turning left, no?

Unless you're turning left, no?
I rarly need to indcate left (but do some times depending on the situation) but reguarly need to indicate right to make a manouvour. Right hand indication stops pepole from over taking you and / or helps you to change lanes / forces pepole to go out wider round you e.t.c.
convert my Kona Paddy Wagon to riser bars and a single brake but not sure where to start, does anyone know where i can get some bars that'll fit my stem and one single brake lever?
