My grandpa's got them all sitting in a box waiting to give me when I see him. Every time I've seen him since they came out until now, almost 22, he gives me a £2 coin.

It's quite cool how you can build the coat of arms by putting together the 1, 2, 5, 10, 20 & 50p's, using the £1 as a guide. I bet kids all over the country will be occupied with that for literally hundreds of seconds.

It's been pointed out elsewhere that removing the numerals from the coins might not be wise for a country with a major tourism industry.

They're not actually going to swap the current stuff for them are they?
Surely they're just collector's issue?
When are they gonna get rid of the stupid 1's and 2's like Oz?
