that looked amazing.
Hope it was half as fun as it looked. I'm quite jealous. -
• #403
what is this 'mounting' you speak of?
One hand on the bars, one hand holding the camera. :-PGreat vid, lovely looking weather!
At around the 1 minute mark it looks like a proper TdF vid with the old motorbike rider zooming up to the front of the peleton. Were you on a Vespa or something?? :0)

Bugger off Sammy Davis Jnr.. I've got other rides book for Sundays. Just strap the kidlet to your bike :)
(I was coming to see your orangeness..)
You are only the second person in history to call me that :0)
Getting a trailer for the boy is an option definitely in mind for this summer, but I don't think he'd enjoy being in it for 4-5 hours!
My phlegm matches Sam's frame.
At least it's not pearlescent white. Then I'd be really worried...
Oof! Sounds nasty, Scarlett. Hope it clears up soon, but could it wait until after the Rapha race? ;0)

Vid looks awesome Rob. I see you are perfecting the 'one hand on the bars, hold the camera, look backwards, hope I don't hit anything' move.

Damn! Usually I'm so original! I'm a trendsetter damnit!!! Hmmph! ;)
Get him a trailer and a xanax.. he won't be bothered with a 5hr ride ;)

That was epic - wish I coulda stayed and had a few more pints guys but the ride itself was amazing. Moments of despair halfway up some of the longer hills and terror halfway down the other side.
Nice to meet you all and will definitely be coming on some more in the future (will have my feet in some way attached to the pedals next time...) Slamm excellent vid!
So woke up in Brighton this morning to a good few inches of snow - needless to say I hadn't packed my studded tyres so the slither back to the station was a bit hairy. Nice one though see you all soon.

hahaha I wish. No, I don't run the Powertap's cadence wire so it 'guesses' at cadence by counting pedaling 'pulses'.

Can those pics be made bigger mini cooper?

I was advised to keep them small, I don't undertand all the computer stuff so just do what I am told.
I could just put the url link to my flickr page I guess I'll give that a try.
BTW Hippy fcuk your fast on that bike. -

I don't know how else to do this so if you cut n paste the URL below into a new browser it (fingers crossed) should direct you to my Brighton set.

Getting back on topic...... good to meet a few people and a cracking ride. Looking forward to the next.
Anyone from the beach - did you pick up a grey waterproof? I took it off at the bar to change my top, got to London in the pissing rain and realised it wasn't in my bag and instead in Brighton.

BTW Hippy fcuk your fast on that bike.Keep them large. Attaching them makes thumbnails automatically on the server so that when people click the thumbnails they get the large image. Upload the large image.

-
• #424
Yes, I have terrible morals ;)
I assume you mean second-last which is peak power graph and would accurately measure my mood for the day, save for the slight peak when I arrived at Caterham station and then the short buzz riding Victoria to Ealing. :)

Looks like you had a good day and a good turnout.
Well done all!Top vid Slamm.
Outstanding day. Good to meet some of you again, and many of you for the first time.
Note to self - next time bring a 22 for the Becon.
