Drag one of the above onto your desktop (or anywhere convenient) and use the Edit Avatar panel to upload it from your computer - alternatively you could simply paste the imageshack link into the URL box, but imageshack can be a bit flakey so best to host it here on ldnfgss.
P.S. the reason it wouldn't show up for you is that the dimensional size was too big (needs to be 64px X 64px or less).
