  • it seems there are an alarming number of regional variations on the name 'teacake'. my nanna was from the Mallee, in north-western victoria, which is quite a long way from huddersfield (or anywhere in the UK for that matter).

    Yeah you are right, tea cake is a flat cake with cinamon and suger on top, yum.
