Yeah, that was one fucked up night..
If I remember, we had been drinking and then rode straight there? Didn't my brother fuck off with the keys for the bike lock? -

I was sat in the Albert (on the same road as the Engineer but about 200 yards nearer Regents park) with a friend on a little round table near the door, there was a quiz going on, then in walked Richard Dreyfuss, I shit you not, sat down at our table (the whole place was a little crowded) and said, offering out his hand to us - "Hi, I am Richard Dreyfuss" (as if you wouldn't know!)
It was surreal !
Apparently he was in a play that was going on in London and most of the other people in the pub were from the production team (he thought we were too).
Spent the night talking about Jaws, beer, bicycles and stuff.
Very surreal ! Nice bloke.

Yeah he did fuck off with the keys, roastmare to get them back.
(His brother, not Richard Dreyfuss)

Very good :D
I actually laughed out loud, much like the popular internet 'lol' might suggest !

Love Dreyfuss.
Should have started singing
"Show me the way to go home"
I'm tired and I want to go to bed
I had a little drink about an hour ago
And it went right to my head -

Same here, beer + that hill = the Royal Free.
The Steeles would be good.
in the event that there was beer + that hill at least the whittington is at the bottom, its looking all fresh and new now too they can fix you up proper (no pun intended)...

We went there on this pub crawl:
http://www.londonfgss.com/thread1449.html
ASM lost, then found his wallet there.
It was in camden!?! Explains a lot. Me and aidan spent ages looking round all the pubs between islington and holloway. No wonder we couldn't find it. I must've been well pissed when we reached it. I don't even remember how I got my wallet back now.

The one with the multi level beer garden is the Faltering Fullback and is a cracking little boozer. I can't make tonight but next week would be cool.

I agree, the flask is perfect. Lovely beer garden, completely safe for bikes. And downhill all the way home for most people
The idea of the Flask at the top of Highgate West Hill has also been touted up a couple of times. Then you'd have to earn your beer through 2 mins of sweat and pain ;o)

we're not all going to hell!
Anyway someone come up with somewhere, and a time. After 8pm would be good for me.
