And 3 x 10mm spacers under the stem clamp is plenty, unless you don't mind a bit of flex when out of the saddle.

exactly i managed to figure that out on my own,
and i have a most comfy bike allreadyright i so walk into the garage, see the old mtb think "oh hello, im here for ur spacer"
it has a black 2mm spacer in it
it now lives on the ribble
just swap it back next time i need to

Good choice, putting the spacers here means that the stem position stays where it is, if you put them under the stem with the other spacers, you raise the stem by a little.
