I'm after a frame and forks (or complete bike) of the ladies variety to build up for the Mrs. I am desperately trying to get her more interested in bikes and figured that a little build project would be good to do together and would also help educate me (I'm still very new to builds).
Anyway, does anyone have a ladies road bike or frame that would be good for a conversion to SS? I remember seeing one on the forum ages ago (it was bright orange) that looked pretty nice. Ideally, I'm after something pretty cheap as money is short.
Also, while I'm here we're probably going to be selling her Dutch bike as soon as I get a replacement lined up for her, £215 (without the basket - she wants to keep that), any takers? It's a unisex 3 speed (hub geared) Dutch bike with a back kick brake (+ normal front brake), mud guards and chain cover for grime free riding, dynamo lights. It's only been ridden for about 20 miles! Only selling as it is a bit on the heavy side for her and she struggles on hills with it, which isn't too good now we live in Cricklewood. And she can't easily carry it up the stairs to our flat, which is a problem when I'm not in.
