"COM 12.5 = ZeroUno - high strength non-heat treated steel
SAT 14.5 = Zero - same metal as ZeroUno but heat treated
EOM 16.5 - same heat treated steel as Zero but with KET"
(ket is a kind of bead blasting treatment)
bareknuckles were made from com 12 but didn't have any fancy diamond tube profiles like the sat14 pistas.
potenzas were made from eom16.5 and had those nice pauls dropouts
i would guess the butting profiles are thinner on the heat treated tubes
