  • If the saddle is a brooks, it happens. Remove it, apply some oil/lube in all the joins and keep squeezing the rails against the inside of the saddle until the noise is gone.

    JH: make sure everything is tightened. Crankbolts, chainring bolts etc. A loose crank can cause creaking. You'd be surprised how they work themselves loose. If it continues lube up the axle area. If it continues remove all and regrease.
