Wanted: White Brake Pads/toe straps

First post in new forum ... woooohooo!!!! Anyway, am after a pair of white brake blocks, does anyone sell them in london, cavendish, condor etc?

Also need some new white straps, can only find really expensive campag ones on the bay, condor only have black blue and yellow... hrmmph

i've got a pair of white brake blocks at home that you can have for free. they are pretty soft.

i get my white straps from freshtripe. seem to keep killing the buckles though :(

joelounge is the guy, he was going to get the dolan b4 he saw the iro. :(

they are soft bmx pads, that aren't the purest white in the first place. yes they do get dirty, but most of the black/grey is the grime metal from the rim ;)

Whatever you use, braking is going to tear the paint off where the pads contact the rims. White or not it isn't going to be looking like new for very long.

The front rim was used before anyway, it's already got wear marks... just thought i'd keep wear to a minimum!

Hah hah.... he cycled off a happy man earlier, i was really sad to see it go but the coppi needs finishing and i picked up that Allin (stan butler) on friday....

you could try using cork pads, made for carbon rims so they definitely won't do as much aesthetic damage to the rims, and i've heard they still work pretty well.

I second the cork pads, they sell them a cavendish.
