Depending on how close/tight the fit is there are any number of possible solutions.
Put your frame in a warm room and your seat post in the freezer for half an hour - mind you, if this works I don't rate your chances of every getting it out !
Seatpost to seat tube tolerance should be within 0.2mm - sounds like yours is out :(

Thanks tynan. I got it in with a bit of freezer, hairdryer, rubber mallet, elbow grease. Not the way I was imagining it going but at least it is in now and I can go and ride it. Not sure how I will ever be able to adjust remove it.....
My new bike has finally arrived from Van Nicholas and very excited I rushed home and started to put it together. However, when I came to getting the seatpost in, I came a cropper. Using all my puny strength I have managed to get it in about 2cm but that is it.
It is a ti frame and a ti seatpost and I am using Finnish Line ant-seize.
I have emailed Van Nicholas but am too keen to try it out so anyone on here got any ideas?
