My Rush and my Allez were both locked, the fixed gear wasn't because a friend was moving in, and the bike needed to be moved out of the way.
You live and learn.
I'm pretty much convinced that the bike is going to be in the Thames by now- who the hell would they sell it too? It's not as if there are lots of highly polished Cannondale fixed gear bikes out there...
