I think I'm just about done on the technical side.
I've added caching of posts, avatars and attachments as static files, memcached on the server, optimisation of HTML (removal of all whitespace), optimisation of MySql, re-direct all old URLs, install sitemaps, add robots.txt, fix the headers, put in caching rules on static files. And a few other things I've probably forgotten about.
I'll start adding features over the next week or so. Need a break now though.
