Do you know the route they use? I might be being a bit dim, but couldn't see it on their site.

From the top link about half way down.
Course
The course used is Q10/26, details as follows:-
Start at the east end of the layby on the A20, coastbound direction, approximately 1000 yards west of the entrance to Brands Hatch and 500 yards east of Scratchers Lane. Continue through West Kingsdown to the roundabout at the top of Wrotham Hill. (approx 4 Miles) Turn at roundabout and retrace past start to turn left on the A225 at Farningham. (Approx 9.25 miles) Continue toward Eynsford to finish at telegraph pole opposite first entrance to Anthony Roper School at Eynsford.
After finishing, riders must continue to Bower Lane War Memorial to turn and return back to the finish area.
Should there be a function being held at the school at the finish we may alter the finish location for safety reasons, although this is rare. We will probably use the Q10/25 which turns second left into Beesfield Lane after the left turn onto the A225 to finish about three quarters of a mile along at the junction with Donkey Lane. Last minute road works may also affect the event.
The event & course record is held by Gary Birch, VC Elan, with 20 min. 41 sec. on April 25th. 2007.

Might make for a nice evening out in the Spring / summer, 10 mile t.t. Easiest for south east people but late you could get a train back when finished into central could have a little group of people riding out. Anyone fancy it?
For the Westies, there's evening 10's at Hillingdon too.. Apr 16th.. every 2 weeks..

Hi Tommy (and everyone else!!!) - Im new here, but thought as I have taken part in these races a few times id say Hi etc. Just for info for all, its not the fastest course, going out can be a bit of a slog, coming back is brilliant though, really fast. Be careful of kids on Mopeds near the pub at West Kingsdown.
Organisation is friendly and its close Eynsford and Farningham stations.
Cheers and hope to speak to more and more people - J -

But if you're not a member of any club then I'm not so sure. I couple of years ago I did 2 10 mile TTs with Southborough Wheelers, their policy was to allow people to TT twice then join the club. But I'm curious to know if that is the policy across all CCs.
I would join Rollapaluza CC but as I don't actually live in London it's not really worth it for me.

I'm a Willesden CC member and these are run by Westerley CC. There was never any club talk.. it's EOL (enter on line) and you just rock up on time and ride. There's only one guy time-keeping so I think they maxed out around 25 riders on the course.

The Bexley evening ten is a good friendly event, just turn up and ride, £2 for non Bexley CC members.
I want to try more of them for training, I did two in 2006 and one last year, my fastest time was 25.38 on 86" gear, at a stone heavier I might struggle to beat that this year :) -

I wouldn't use a disrespectful term like 'bike' when talking about my ladyboy. Some of us are keen to uphold standards you know.

Evening "10" Series 2008
The evening 10 series for this year are to be run on Wednesday Evenings from 23rd April until 20th August with a break of one week probably on Wednesday 25th June for the Barbecue.
As at the end of February the course is still being obstructed by roadworks. A water main is being laid and we have enquired as to the scheduled completion date. We are informed that this is the end of March, but is likely to overrun.
The work should be finished by the start of our 10's, the 23rd April, but it is possible that it may not be and our first events will have to be cancelled. We will keep you informed via this website.
Results of the 2007 series, and from earlier years, can be followed from the link below.
