It used to be the fashion to get the largest avatar you could feasibly fit, but since the advent of compact avatars, people tend to size down a bit.
it'll never catch on, far too uncomfortable

What is it with you avatar purists? The longer seatpost increases comfort.

Thanks Dave for all your hard work! :-)

is there a way of having new posts button at bottom of page, have to scroll back up all the time to get to threads I want to see, which relates to the next point - as when I go back through my browser to the threads page, it doesn't update which ones I've read or not, so can there also be a way of showing that you've read a thread, like on old forum where it would be different colour to the others. The whole bold to normal font thing isn't as good.

I loved the fact you had everything presented on the old forum on the front page and posts bobbed up and down with postage. I don't like this kind of categorisation.
Also now it looks a bit like every other type of forum, cluttered. Never was into forums much before this one's previous incarnation.
Like my forums to be like the bikes I prefer, simple.

Click the new posts button at the top of the menu - that makes it fairly similar to the old layout.
Am I being stupid or to post replies do you have to click "quick reply" all the time? Can't we just have a box? Also how do we do italics and stuff?!

don't think strikeout is activated either^^ I quite like that because if it does work then I've crossed out my error! :)
Clever.
Got it working.
Also got [ cite ] working for all of those old quotes.
Deliberately disabled font, color and size to improve readability. The idea of Comic Sans size 200 in bright green scares me.
