Depends on your cranks
Campag single is 109, Mavic (or is it Miche) are 107.
My TA single needs 111.5 to get the chainline right -

its a Dura Ace crank, but all the numbers have rubbed off.

Being retarded sorry: TWICE
Stronglight+UN53/107+Sys-X+Formula= MA3K
Dura Ace+UN53/107+Dura Ace+Dura Ace= MA3K
Sugino RD+Sugino/103+Sys-X+Dura Ace= MA3K -

Woops, looks like I was wrong the first time. Just pulled out an old bb and it is 107.
Disnumeracy ahoy, shit that is embarrassing.

Are they hammerhead shark shaped 109s? ;)
-
• #13
yup.
Edit:
So I'm going to trust MA3K and order a 107mm un53.
English thread 68 mm -

sugino might do 109s. A quick google shows that that's what the sugino 75 works with. It's not a cartidge bb though so I tink it'd not be weather proof.

no go for 110, if back hub's chainline is 42 mm, this will make it closer than 107. duh!
(assuming that 109 gives you the optimum for a 42 mm chainline, 110 will put it 1 mil out whereas 107 will put it 2 out the other direction)

for shimano UN BB's 110mm and 107mm have the same length on the drive side. the difference is on the left side. i have installed both and tried riding both i can verify that.
campag's or sugino's 109's are ISO taper, which if fitted with dura ace cranks you wont be able to tighten the cranks up properly.
verdict:
as far as i know MA3K's setup is perfect. right choice. -

what's the point in having a few extra mm on the left side? Not saying you're wrong ed, it's a little strange though...
-
• #18
yeah, i don't get it either...
As I don't know the spindle length of my cranks, but i know they're off a english BB on a square taper do I go for a 107 or a 109mm BB?
