How do you get those icon thingies

to work - got one to upload to flickr but not succesful here -

in the old days we would've whittled one from wood...

Upload it to flickr, then tell me where it is and i'll help from there.

Right... once upload to Flickr, you need to work out the real URL of the image.

On that page, above the photo, it says "All Sizes", and when you click that you end up here:
http://www.flickr.com/photo_zoom.gne?id=728837111&size=o

Now if you Right Click the image and either do Properties to get the image URL, or in Firefox "Copy Image Location".

That will give you this:
http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1064/728837111_e65becf28e_o.jpg

Note that it ends in ".jpg". If it ends in an image extension, you've got the right URL.

Now you just put that in your settings... I'll do it for you this time.

Oh, and I've changed your profile picture to that too... as it appears you'd deleted the Flickr image you had uploaded, or turned it to private.

obviously this thread hasnt been used for a while...
maybe im being stupid, but where do i put the url, it says put it in your settings, but i cant find where that is, if i click on account i dont seem to have any editable (it might be a word) fields... meh.
any ideas?
