I have built a pair of wheels with brand new Mavic CXP22 rims.
Opposite to the valve hole I can see a tiny opening/slash in a straight line through the rim. Possibly is the rim’s joint. It looks like half welded and mostly on the braking wall is slightly open. Both rims are the same.
Is this ok, or it is a manufacturing fault?
