Are you constantly resetting the position of the wheel in the dropouts, but feel like you're doing the nuts/bolts up tight enough? If yes, you need a chain tug.
I go for 1/2 inch vertical play in my chain.
Yeah, I use a Surly Tuggnut. A chaintug just lets you dial in your tension perfectly. When you get a flat as well, I find it way quicker to get my wheel back in with a tug than without. Just sling it in and it's adjusted perfectly straight away .
