And incase any of you know him, some of you will have met him at polo - We are using Good Friday as a send off for my friend Irish Ross, he's leaving the next morning to begin the second part of Le Tour d'Oz - which he's called "Fixin Austraila" where he'll be riding One Bag. No Brake. Fixed. Across the center of the continent.. unsupported. (thats near 5000kms)

Through the centre is not around the edge (where all the people live). There can be no water for a couple of hundred kays. You need to send stuff in advance to towns in order to pick it up. When I read one bag I got worried. He sounds like he has touring experience but central Australia needs special attention and I'd rather not hear about another tourist's demise due to ill preparation.
