I will make sure we can provide some secure bike parking. We will be able to accomodate a good number of bikes in the workshop and in our yard, if that overflows we will keep someone posted at the front of the shop to keep an eye on locked bikes. Phil

Poor old Chris has gotta miss it, cos the british consulate in the US don't believe I - long-suffering fiancee and supposed key to european citizenship and all things UK- am British.
He can't travel nowhere as the consulate aren't letting go of his passport until I top up my Britishness...!
-

Are you British?

I tried giving the entry clearance officer my varied ranged of UK-wide accents, but she wasn't buying.
she insists I get myself a UK passport or she'll piss on Chris and I's dreams and no mistake.

I'm probably going to head up after work so around 1830 to 1900.
I put my hands up to this being a shameless plug but I hope it's of interest!
Mosquito Bikes are hosting an open day on April 10th from 3pm till 8.30pm at the shop on 123 Essex Road, Islington, N1.
Star of the show will be legendary framebuilder Dario Pegoretti who recently won the title of 'Framebuilder of the Year' at the North American Handbuilt Bike Show. Dario has a huge amount of knowledge and experience and is a great character so it should be quite an event.
We also have Joe Ingram from Independent Fabrication, Recep from Fixie Inc and representatives from Litespeed and Scott.
Plenty of free food and drinks and lots to new stuff to look at and talk about.
Entrance is free but to keep an eye on numbers could you please register by visiting http://www.mosquito-bikes.co.uk and follow the email link.
