This afternoon I am taking my bareknuckle to bits to clean it up before rebuilding it as my 'go to the gym beater'

I love the bareknuckle there is something very simple about it

it works and the geometry for city riding is sweet

Funny you should mention that, but its already got a white chain on it (courtesy of trackstar) and when finanaces improve a new stem is a definite (they could only get a black on in time, but they gave me a discount so that was ok) oh and the other thing that at some point will be popping a couple of these on (again thanks to trackstar):

oh and their velocity fusion rims, kinda an more elegant lighter deep v
