well, i'm not the most computer savy individual. i don't know if you came out of the womb buffering videos, but if you did, any pointers?

It could be youtube servers. Depends on how popular a video is as to how likely it is to have been cached, etc. They have to serve it to you remember?
At work, due to our poxy proxy we get no action from a youtube vid until it's 80% downloaded and then it suddenly begins playing. At home, it's straight into playing..

i think the problem is just that you tube sucks more then man whore in the toilets at G-A-Y on a Friday night.
