It kind of does. Vivalo frames are no longer legal in Keirin races (regardless of age) and Ocean (the successor company) can't apply for NJS approved status for another 3 years or so.
So yeah, whoever buys my spare Vivalo won't be able to race it in Keirin. That said, the deep-Vs and Flites, etc, would make your bike equally ineligible for Keirin. So there you go.

Who wants to race in Japanese Keirin anyway? You can do it in Europe and not have to wear those silly helmets..

Ye I just cant sell them because they are no longer NJS certified! But I understand how much that NJS certification matters out there.

so I guess you're not gonna be selling the vivalvo frames for a few thousand yen??
Hi, Iv always got NJS frames and parts in, I try to keep my prices lowest on the net for this kind of stuff and am always interested in doing trades for handbuild Europian frames and Europian parts. I also do complete builds, starting at round 700GBP for an NJS build. Currently based in Tokyo but moving the operation to London come June. Thanks to fixedgearlondon for finishing off Olegs build:
