• Why do you ride fixed?
    The fixed wheel drivetrain is constantly turning, like the world, you can't just get off if you don't like it. (except with a bike, you can)

    How did you get into it?**
    I turned to bikes after Jesus told me it was the best way to get along (Jesus is a courier from New Mexico with a crack habit, not the dude from Nazareth with the famous father)

    How did fixies become popular?
    I guess Jesus the courier had 12 disciples too

    Why no brakes
    Brakes symbolise oppression and authoritarianism, the slaves wouldn't have been able to ride to freedom with brakes and to this day we uphold the tradition as a mark of respect to those forced to endure braking under the "Caliper Clause" of 1860.
